Development and Philanthropy Infrastructure

The Nand & Jeet Khemka Foundation's overall approach is to develop or sponsor key innovations and institutions to promote development and philanthropy in India. Towards this goal we have established the India NGO Award to recognize best practices in accountability, transparency, governance and resource mobilization in the non-profit sector in India.

Current Programs

The India NGO Awards were instituted in 2006 with an aim to advance India’s non-profit sector by promoting financial and organisational stability, and strengthening community support of civil society. The award is a joint initiative with the Resource Alliance.
